The student is able to perform basic technological calculations in the field of mineral processing technology and is well informed in basic methods for balancing and designing of mineral processing plants.

Summary
Students are acquainted with the evaluation of the properties of mineral resources and evaluation of mineral processing technologies in terms of their efficiency. The course also deals with the application of basic probabilistic a statistical methods in the field of mineral processing and basic methods of balancing technology schemes.

2. Evaluation of grain composition, sieve analysis, particle size distribution
3. Evaluation of densometric composition, sink-float analysis
4. Washability curves and their use
5. Calculation of basic parameters of technological schemes of treatment
6. Evaluation of efficiency of technological processes by means of ratio
recovery
7. Evaluation of technological processes efficiency by Tromp curves method
