Anotace
The course deals with the principles of execution of mining operations in areas threatened by the hazard of rockbursts, gas and rock outbursts and in areas threatened by the hazard of water outbursts. Active and passive measures that are to prevent the occurrence of accidents following from the above-mentioned hazards and that are to reduce substantially their consequences are analyzed.

Summary
Subject deals with problematic of mining in conditions, where dangers of
anomalous geomechanical events exist. Anomalous conditions are divided to
conditions where danger of rock bursts, gas outbursts and water outbreak
exist. Strategic, tactic and operational measures for elimination of anomalous
events are discussed.

Anotation
The course deals with the question of mainly two anomalous geomechanical events – rockbursts and outbursts of gases and rocks. Factors influencing the origin of rockbursts and forecast indicators following from this (regional, local and temporal forecast of rockbursts) are analyzed. Active and passive outburst control measures. Factors influencing the origin of gas and rock outbursts, forecast indicators, classification of seams and mine workings from the point of view of outburst hazard, preventive measures.
