Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student will learn how to classify the basic types of organizational structures in the subject Conservation and liquidation of mines and how to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The aim is to define and reproduce facts, to interpret acquired pieces of information in new situations and to compare them.
Subsequently, the students will learn how to analyse information, connect pieces of information, order information according to importance and use it in experiments and synthesis with a view to definite recommendations.

PhD students to get acquainted with the requirements imposed on
preservation (new security) and disposal of mines in terms of legislation and technical design. Attention will be paid as the coal mines, and ore, and uranium nerudným.

Anotace
Students will be acquainted with requirements put on mine preservation and decommissioning from the point of view of legislation and technical implementation.
Osnova přednášek:
1. Legislation concerning the question of mine preservation and decommissioning.
2. Legislation concerning the question of decommissioning of mine workings opened to the surface.
3. Mine preservation – possibilities and methods of implementation.
4. Possibilities of technical implementation of decommissioning in conditions of ore and uranium mines.
5. Methods of restoration and reclamation of decommissioned mine sites.
7. Check of conditions of abandoned buildings.
8. Possibilities of subsequent utilization of surface buildings of decommissioned mine.
9. Sample plan of engineering project on mine decommissioning.
10. Social programme in relation to mine decommissioning.
11. Restructuring the mining companies in connection with the phasing out of mining.
12. Analysis of the problems on practical examples.
