Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student will learn how to classify the basic types of organizational structures in the subject Mining production and waste management and how to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The aim is to define and reproduce facts, to interpret acquired pieces of information in new situations and to compare them.
Subsequently, the students will learn how to analyse information, connect pieces of information, order information according to importance and use it in experiments and synthesis with a view to definite recommendations.

Summary
The students will gain the knowledge of wastes resulting from deep and
opencast mining of coal, metalliferous, non-metalliferous, and uranium
deposits, and of their possible utilization. Various
methods of dumping of wastes on and under the surface in such a way that no
harm can be made to
the environment are discussed.
