Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student will learn how to classify the basic types of organizational structures in the subject Mine Security and Disposal and how to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The aim is to define and reproduce facts, to interpret acquired pieces of information in new situations and to compare them.
Subsequently, the students will learn how to analyse information, connect pieces of information, order information according to importance and use it in experiments and synthesis with a view to definite recommendations.

Summary
The students will gain the knowledge of all the requirements during closing
and securing the deep mines, that are demanded by regulations. The problems of
technical solutions and further utilization of underground spaces are
discussed.

Legislation on the issue of liquidation of mines that would result to the surface.
Preservation Down - ways and means of implementation.
Possible technical solution for the conditions in the ore and uranium mines.
The methods remediation and reclamation of the mine destroyed.
Checks the status of abandoned buildings.
The possibility of subsequent use of liquidated mine surface buildings.
Sample outline of a technical project winding down.
Social program in connection with the winding down.
Restructuring of the mining companies in connection with mining downturn.
