Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The goal is to study the risks of inappropriate composition of the atmosphere, the risk of dust, the risk of explosion gases, vapors and dusts, the risk of mine fires, the risk of ionizing radiation, health risks, other risks. Interaction effects of adaptation to complex operating risks objectively.

Summary
The subject contents the summary of risks in mining - explosion of
flammable gases and coal dust, underground fires, spontaneous combustion, rock
and gas outburts, etc. and the principles of the safety engineering in mining
as labour safety, environmental science - mine gases, heat in mines, mine dust
and health hazard, explosion protection, ignition protection etc. The part of
mines rescue service contents their organization, equipment, training,
legislation and activities as firefighting technologies.
