Subject syllabus:

Physiological and hygienic bases. Methods of assessing and measuring the thermal state environment. Clean-air. Pollutants in indoor air. -Mass balance of pollutants in a ventilated area. Ventilation while of several pollutants. Heat balance ventilated area. -Ventilation with natural air circulation. Infiltration. Aeration. Pressure gradient inferred effect of temperature differences and the influence of wind. Shaft ventilation. -Ventilation with forced air. General and local ventilation. Exhaust equipment. Ventilation equipment and the unit overall. -Fans. General concepts. Basic relations. Classification, design, characteristics and regulation. Principles for the selection of fans. -Air. Parts of air ducts and their construction. -Basic criteria for the choice of heating equipment. Features heating equipment. Fuel consumption for heating. -Calculation of thermal losses of buildings (CSN 06 0210). Division-heating systems. Local heating. Heater for solid, liquid and gaseous fuels. Central-heating. Advantages and disadvantages of central heating systems, divisions Central heating. --- Pipeline network of central heating and the basic equations for calculating pipe networks. Central-heating. The regulation of heat supply. -Air. Air-conditioning equipment and their distribution. Principles of design air conditioning. Moist-air. Illustration of modifications in the "i-x" diagram. Summer and winter finish air. Cooling equipment. Heat recovery. Exercises outline: -Basic properties of fluids - numerical examples. -Determination of the complex effect of air temperature and effective temperature of the surrounding areas. (Program 1). -Determination of pollutants in the environment. Demonstration apparatus techniques for measuring concentrations of gaseous pollutants and to determine the dust. -Calculation of natural ventilation. Practical calculations of air exchange in the aeration industrial buildings and civic buildings. -The air flow in a ventilated room. Supply air streams.
