Summary

Subject deals mainly with two anomalous geomechanical events – rock bursts and gas outbursts. There are analysed factors influencing origin of rock bursts and therefrom arising prognostic methods (regional, local and continues prognosis of rock bursts). Active and passive anti rock bursts measures. Factors influencing gas outbursts origin, methods of prognosis, ranging of seams and mine workings from danger of gas outbursts point of view, methods of prevention.
