Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with mathematical and physical modeling. They are discusses the principles of computational methods of mathematical modeling.

Summary
Subject deals with mathematical and physical modelling. There are analysed
calculation methods of mathematical modelling and statistical methods of
modelling. Photoelasticimetric and equivalent material modelling from physical methods are discussed. Equivalent material models construction, estimation of equivalent material properties, equivalent material model operation and their evaluation are discussed.
