Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The student will learn how to classify the basic types of organizational structures in the subject Methods of gas outbursts danger prognosis and prevention and how to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The aim is to define and reproduce facts, to interpret acquired pieces of information in new situations and to compare them. Subsequently, the students will learn how to analyse information, connect pieces of information, order information according to importance and use it in experiments and synthesis with a view to definite recommendations.

Summary

Factors influencing gas outbursts origin, parameters of prognosis and their estimation and evaluation, used apparatuses, seam division to danger degree, redivision of seams to lower danger degrees, active and passive anti gas outbursts measures, methods of prevention, documentation of gas out bursts and analysis of gas outbursts events are discussed.
