Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The exercises are being conducted through the acquisition of targeted skills, such as support for the development of specific solutions and semester projects. In the exercises students work with software in the field of geodesy.

Summary

MicroStation - Interactive graphical application with database interface. It can be used for 2D drawing, 3D modelling and visualization and make of technical and geodetical drawings.

Subject syllabus:

Exercise: MicroStation 1. Graphical user interface, drawing setup, working units, coordinate systems. 2. Introduction to drawing in 2D, linear elements, composite elements, 3. Editing element, change element attributes. 4. Handling elements. 5. Dimensions, chatching, fill of areas, labels. 6. Working in layers. 7. Composite elements, measuring distances, angles, areas and volumes of solids. 8. Cell creation, using company cell libraries. 9. AccuDraw - drawing in the drawing coordinate system. 10. Reference drawings and bitmaps 11. Fundamentals of 3d drawing, visualization. 12. Printing, page layout, print options. 13. The specific task - drawing 14. The specific task - drawing 15. Credit test
