Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Students will be acquainted with the legal system as a whole and the way of working with legal regulations. Emphasis will be placed on legislative regulations in surveying and mining surveying.

Summary
Students will be acquainted with the role and function of law in society. The relationship between the state as a representative of public power and law as a tool for regulating relations in society. They will gain a basic overview of the Czech legal system and the way of orientation in it in order to strengthen their legal awareness. The focus of the course will be legislative regulations on land surveying, real estate cadastre, land adjustments, mining surveying and their connection to the Civil Code, the Building Act, the Mining Act, state administration and self-government.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Knowledge are checked during the semester by a semester project and presentations in MS PowerPoint. The course is completed by an examination, which may be scheduled having gained the initial credit. The examination is divided into a written and oral part.

The study recommended literature. Complete the projects and written test to checking the knowledge in the professional literature, the content of lectures and exercises.
