The aim of the subject is giving information about mine pit surveying, map documentation on open-pit, methods of measurement and regulation of this problem.

Summary

The subject informs students about open-pit map documentation and surveying methods which are necessary for works of mapping of open-pit. The content of subject is also coordinate systems, map signs, reading of map documentation, calculation of area and volume of ground blocks

Lectures : 1.Open-pit point fields, point field classification , point fields works 2.Geodetic methods of mapping - orthogonal method, polar method, instruments and tools, organization of geodetic works 3. Geodetic methods of mapping - tachymetry, instruments and tools, organization of geodetic works 4.Processing of measurement, drawing of contour lines and cross-sections 5.Photogrammetry 6.Global Navigation Satellite System 7.Rapid Static Method for measurement of points of point field on quarry 8.GNSS - RTK - measurement of detaled point for drawing of basic quarry map 9.Calculation of volume; method of horizontal cross-sections, method of vertical parallel cross-section;method of grid 10.3-D models of open-pit and calculation of volume 11.Map documentation on open-pit, basic open-pit map, division into sheets 12.Coordinate systems Excercises : 1.Learning of map open-pit documentation 2.Drawing and reading of map open-pit documentation 3.
