The aim of the course "Thesis Seminar" is to prepare students for the final state exam, which includes the defense of a thesis.

Summary

The aim of the course "Thesis Seminar" is to prepare students for the final state exam, which includes the defense of a thesis. The course is a presentation of the main principles of preparation of the thesis, ie. its structure and content of the theoretical part, familiarization with the relevant Directive faculty practical part of the thesis, citing the principle according to DIN ISO 690, work with literary sources. Students demonstrate knowledge of the faculty for the processing of the thesis, knowledge of the principles citation of documents, preparation and self-assembly structure of the thesis, the ability of data processing and evaluation, preparation of conclusions and results of their activities.

Subject syllabus:

1. Zadání diplomové práce. 2. Zásady přípravy diplomové práce 3. Představení a vysvětlení podstaty směrnice fakulty k přípravě diplomové práce. 4. Zásady citování a práce s literaturou. 5. Obsahové zpracování teoretické části práce, struktura práce. 6. Praktická část práce – zpracování naměřených dat, forma jejich prezentace. 7. Zpracování rešerše současného stavu řešené problematiky – prezentace. 8. Sestavení osnovy diplomové práce – prezentace. 9. Kontrola zpracování naměřených dat. 10. Zpracování pracovní verze diplomové práce. 11. Připomínkování pracovní verze diplomové práce. 12. Vyhotovení konečné verze diplomové práce. 13. Prezentace diplomové práce a její obhajoba před interní komisí. 14. Odevzdání diplomové práce.
