Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The course will focus on the issues of processes within the construction of buildings, where the task of the surveyor is bound to the acquisition of input geodetic data, to the setting-out of building parts, to control activities and, last but not least, to the creation of the actual implementation, i.e. the preparation of survey to building documentation, notation of legal relations to real estates.

Summary

The importance of the new BIM method is in the collaboration of engineers and technicians on construction sites in many professional fields, where land surveyors who are involved in the construction process from its inception to complete completion play a very important role. Their significance is mainly in their high qualification and ability to geodetically measure the actual construction phase and acquire current data for joint management of the BIM model, in the implementation and operation of engineering structures in one complex digital building system. Data for building management in digital form 3D is used both for construction but will remain operational throughout the entire life cycle of the building and there are great new opportunities for professionals in the field of surveying, engineering surveying, cartography, topography and geography. Above all, knowledge of new technologies, software equipment and adequate technical equipment is a prerequisite. It is important to use the 3D model of buildings with the participation of surveyors for the sustainability of geographic data created during construction activities for the purpose of administrative building management throughout the existence of buildings.
