Students should be able to work independently in the field influence by undermining, especially in solving problems related with the determination of subsidence trough parameters and the theoretical calculation of surface movement.

Summary
The task of the influence by undermining is to clarify mechanism of overlying rock due to underground mining and mining results on the landscape. One of the main tasks of the influence by undermining is a theoretical calculation of the movements and deformations, depending on the extent of planned mining.

Lectures
1st General laws, mining - geological and geomechanical mining conditions, the mechanism of the overlying strata failure and the effect of previous mining
2nd Observation station to measure movements in the subsidence trough, the method of stabilizing and determining the distance to the observation station points
3rd The extent of the influence by undermining, the limiting impact angle, the full effective area, the value and direction of movement of surface points
4th Methods of calculating the theoretical surface subsidence, the election effective and time functions
5th Computer method of calculating the theoretical surface subsidence and deformations
6th Methods for determining the vertical movements, the influence by subsidence starting elevation point, determine the interval of repeated measurements
7th Methods of determining horizontal movements
8th Processing of measured results, the technical content of the message, the determining boundaries of affected areas of the measured values subsidence
9th Methods for determining the tilt, indirect determination of the tilt of the measured subsidence, direct determination of the tilt
