Objective of the course students are gaining basic knowledge of geodesy, in terms of mastering the basic principles of methodology for measuring angles and lengths

Summary

The course deals with the measurement of geodetic environment variables and basic concepts of the theory of errors. They discussed methods of measuring angles and lengths and the surveying device described in the relevant conditions and their accuracy.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: 1st Introduction to the methodology of measurement of geodetic parameters, the effect of environment on the measured variables, and coordinate work in terms of height systémech. Basic theory surveying errors, the compensation method of least squares, the Law on transmission errors. 2nd Measurement of horizontal angles and directions, the definition of angles and directions. Aids determining the constant angles (hranůlky) 3rd Apparatus for measuring angles. Theodolite - breakdown by type, accuracy,Description of the theodolite. 4th Terms of accuracy theodolite. Systematic and random errors. Measure theodolite angles. 5th Methods for measuring horizontal and vertical angles - Control Measure - Limit deviations. 6th Measurement of magnetic directions - declination, equipment and utilities. Magnetic traverse 7th Gyro measurement guidelines, the principle of the gyrocompass, tools, methodologymeasurements. 8th Measuring lengths - measuring gauges (bands) - the systematic and random errors measurements. Control Measure - tolerances. 9th Indirect methods of distance measurement - optical rangefinders, parallactic measurements lengths. Check measurments - tolerances. 10th Electro rangefinders, principle, systematic errors of measurement methods.Check measurments - tolerances. 11th Transfer lengths measured on the computer desktop. Different coordinate systems Exercise: 1st Description theodolite Theo 020, Simple measurement of angles in two positionstelescope, working notebook. 2nd Description Theo 010 theodolite, measuring trends in rows and groups,processing scrapbook 3rd Building a tripod on the ground, centering using mechanical theodolite and optical plummet 4th Accurate measurements 10 lengths range, correction of systematic errors, processing form, control measurements. 5th Measurement of length optical rangefinder - crosshairs (Theo 020), 6th Parallactic distance measurement. 7th Measurement of the Traverse 8th Calculation of Traverse - Kokes 9th Focus resection in two groups 10th Calculation resection - Kokes 11th Calculation of the intersection ahead - Kokes
