Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to acquire practical skills with instrumentation commonly used in geodetic practice. Especially GNSS devices, total stations and electronic leveling instruments.

Summary

The course is focused on GNSS technology in geodetic practice, students will learn the basic principles of GNSS technology, measurement methods, factors affecting measurement accuracy, processing of measured data and making documentation using GNSS technology. The course is also acquiring practical skills with electronic leveling devices, including processing of measured data.

Lecture : 1.Principles of working of electronic theodolite and tachymeter 2.Measurement and alignment methods of electronic tachymeters 3.Principles of working of levelling instruments 4.Measurement and alignment methods of electronic levelling instruments 5.Global navigation satellite system and its application in geodesy 6.Methods of measurement used GNSS 7.Method of evaluation of measured values by GNSS Exercise: 1. Tachymeter TCR 307 - description, measurement of single angles 2. Tachymeter TCR 307 - measuring angles in sets with registration in memory, calculation in PC 3. Tachymeter TCR 307 - measurement of tachymetry, method free station in JTSK system with registration in memory of instrument, calculation in PC 4. Tachymeter TCR 307 - alignment of point based on data in memory of instrument 5.
