Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to obtain basic knowledge on methods and principles of terrestrial and aerial photogrammetry. Students will learn the principles of selected methods of digital photogrammetry for specific programs in the exercises.

Summary

The subject of Photogrammetry goes into reconstruction of size and position of spatial object from survey photographs and digital image records. Put emphasis on basic informations about digital photogrammetry methods and principles.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: 1. Basiscs of Photogrammetry and use in practice. 2. Properties of photogrammetric cameras. Elements of interior and exterior orientation. 3. Terrestrial photogrammetry. Mathematical Foundations of Photogrammetry 4. Single image photogrammetry. 5. Intersection photogrammetry. 6. Optical correlation systems. 7. Natural and artifical stereoscopic vision. Stereoscopic instruments. 8. Terrestrial and aerial cameras. Aerial Carrar. Digital cameras. 9. Aerial photogrammetry. Flight mission, project planning and implementation. 10. Field reconnaissance and preparation of the project. Digital processing of aerial photographs. 11. Aerotriangulation. 12. Properties of terrestial and aerial photography. Image and spatial data. 13. Ground control points.
