Exercises are conducted through targeted acquisition of skills, support and development to address specific semester projects. Exercises, students work with software, focusing on applications in the areas of geodesy.

Summary

Groma: application program for geodetic calculations, measured data processing and their graphical output. Geus: application program for basic geodetic calculations, large scale map drawing and work in cadastre of real estates.

Subject syllabus:

Exercise: GROMA 1. Data files, a list of coordinates, according to testing requirements for working in cadastre of real estate. 2. Complete field book processing, including measured data in both theodolite positions, distance measured in both directions, etc. 3. Computational methods for solving geometric problems, coordinate calculations. 4. Transformation, network adjustment. 5. Digitization of raster data. 6. Concrete work. GEUS 7. The main and auxiliary list of coordinates, edits and works with a list of coordinates. 8. Basic procedures in the application.Calculation and control of deviations according to Decree. 9. Polar method batch, the general logic of processing and data acquisition of polar methods, import, export. 10. Transformation key, transformation by the transformation key. 12. Digitization, planimeter, cubature. 13. Cooperation with other applications (MicroStation, Kokes). 14. Graphics part of the application, drawing, working with layers, printing. 15. Concrete work.
