Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal is to acquire basic skills in the creation of DMT and its visualization environment, the ATLAS program, including the application of geodetic calculations in the Grom.

Summary

Atlas : ATLAS DMT is a graphic interactive system for 3D surface modeling and visualization, featuring a special focus on terrain modeling. Topol:is a general open local/geographic information system which can be adapted for applications in many fields. It enables to prepare geographic data, its administration and analysis. Photomodeler:PhotoModeler is a powerful 3d software product that calculates measurements and constructs 3d models from your photographs simply and easily.

Subject syllabus:

1. ATLAS DMT. Input data, generation of a triangular network, transformations. 2. Edit the network and work with databases DMT. 3. Calculation of the contour, drawing contour maps. 4. Cubature. 5. View in perspective DMT model (axonometric) views. 6. Working with rastem. 7. Processing of terrain profiles. 8. Graphic editing of profiles. 9. Print the resulting drawings and data into the information system. 10. Evaluation of model objects in the Photomodeler. 11. Calibration of digital camera. 12. TOPOL DMT 13. TOPOL DMT, grid transformation. 14. Evaluation of the profile of mine. 15. data processing in vector and raster shape, creating a mosaic.
