Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The student will master basic knowledge of theoretical cartography including mathematical cartography and cartographic informatics. He will be ready to create, critically evaluate and use various types of cartographic works. They will gain a basic overview of national and world cartographic works of middle and small scales. Using digital technologies, he / she can create mock-ups, construction sheets and design of maps sign.
