Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to obtain basic information on methods and principles of ground and air photogrammetry with applications of those methods in mining. In the exercises students will learn the principles of selected methods of digital photogrammetry for specific programs .

Summary
The subject of Photogrammetry goes into reconstruction of size and position of
spatial object from photographic images. Next there is basic informations
about modern digital photogrammetry methods and principles.

2. The emergence of the image. Digital recording.
3. Properties photogrammetric cameras.
4. Ground and aerial cameras.
5. Stereoscopic vision and measurement.
6. Ground control points and signals. Coordinate systems in photogrammetry.
7. Ground photogrammetry. Mathematical foundations.
8. Field work. Evaluation of stereo images.
9. Aerial photogrammetry. Aerial Photography Project.
10. Field reconnaissance and preparation of the project. Digital processing of aerial photographs.
