Summary

The subject is focused on metrology in general form, definition and development of units of measurement (especially SI systems), implementation and preservation of units, terminology, legislation, state and international institutions. It also includes metrological traceability, verification and calibration of gauges. Particular emphasis is placed on the calibration of geodetic instruments and verification of their correct function according to international standards. The content of the subject is a set of technical standards in geodesy and valuation of surveying activities
