The main objective of the course is for students to obtain documents and information relevant and necessary for the bachelor thesis.

Summary

Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course "Bachelor Thesis Seminar" is to prepare students for the final state exams, which also include the defense of the Bachelor Thesis. The content of the course is the presentation of the main principles of the preparation of the bachelor thesis. its structure, content of the theoretical part, familiarization with the relevant directive of the faculty, content of the practical part of the thesis, citing principles according to ČSN ISO 690, work with literary sources. Students demonstrate knowledge of the directive of the faculty for elaboration of bachelor thesis, knowledge of principles of citing documents, individual preparation and compilation of structure of bachelor thesis, ability to process measured data and their evaluation, drawing conclusions and results of their activities.

Subject syllabus:

1. Assignment of bachelor thesis. 2. Principles of bachelor thesis preparation 3. Presentation and explanation of the essence of the faculty directive for the preparation of the bachelor thesis. 4. Principles of citing and working with literature. 5. Content processing of the theoretical part of the work, structure of the work. 6. Practical part - processing of measured data, form of their presentation. 7. Research of the current state of the solved problems - presentation. 8. Outline of the bachelor thesis outline - presentation. 9. Control of measured data processing. 10. Processing of the draft of the bachelor thesis. 11. Suggestion of draft bachelor thesis. 12. Final version of the thesis. 13. Presentation of the thesis and its defense before the internal committee. 14. Submission of bachelor thesis.
