Summary

Význam interpretačních technik významně roste a vytěžování současných rozsáhlých databází je předmětem činnosti soukromých firem, které provádí vytěžování dat geodatabází (tzv. data mining) ve prospěch velkých obchodních řetězců a subjektů státní správy. Klasické interpretační techniky obrazových geodat spějí k propojení s negrafickými záznamy atributů v geodatabázích k vyššímu stupni automatizace tvorby map. Efektivní a vlastně bezeztrátovou redukcí v obrazových datech tak dochází k propojení s negrafickými údaji entit prvků v geodatabázích. Tyto postupy jsou pak základem k modelování virtuální reality.
