Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the subject Land Cadastre for Public and State Administration is to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge related to activities related to the performance of public and state administration. Students will learn the basic concepts, principles and context, relating to the registration of rights to real estate, including their essentials. They will also acquire practical skills in solving geometric plans and preparing documents needed to realize changes in the land register.

Summary
Cadastre of Real Estate of the Czech Republic is a set of data on real estate in the Czech Republic including their inventory and description and their geometric and positional determination. It includes evidence of ownership and other rights in rem and other statutory rights to these properties. The Land Registry contains a number of important data on land and selected buildings and their owners. Students are acquainted with the historical development of the cadastre, providing data from the cadastre, activities in the management of the cadastre. The subject is focused mainly on the rights, which are registered to real estate and acts that precede registration of property and other rights in rem to real estate.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Continuous control of assigned tasks and verification of knowledge in exercises. The course is completed by an exam, which can be taken after obtaining the credit. The exam has a written and an oral part.

Subject syllabus:
1. Basic terms in the Land Register.
2. Historical development of the Czech Land Register - the first Czech Land Register, Josef Land Register, Stable Land Register.
3. Historical development of the Czech Land Register - Land Cadastre, Unified Land Register, Real Estate Register.
4. Public books, land register.
5. Subject of the cadastre, content of the cadastre.
6. Cadastral documentation and its content, renewal of cadastral documentation.
7. Cadastral map and its historical development.
8. Ownership and other rights in rem according to Act No. 89/2012 Coll. (Civil Code).
9. Property right, lien, option to lease, lease.
10. Additional co-ownership, construction law, servitude, trust fund.
11. Registration of ownership and other rights in rem in real estate, requisites of documents necessary for registration.
12. Geometric plan and recording of detailed measurement of changes.
13. Cadastre management activities (registration of other data, cadastre revision, changes in cadastre content and identification of changes in cadastral documentation).
14. Calculation of acreage, principles for calculation of acreage according to cadastral decree, BPEJ in cadastre of real estates.
