The goal is teaching and application of the principles of surveying methods, evaluation and development of mining surveying documentation.

Summary
The course is focused on deepening the knowledge of mine surveying methods, accuracy analysis before, during and after measurement with respect to special accuracy of selected types of measurements used only in mine surveying using the latest technologies and devices for collecting primary data of basic mine surveying documentation.

Subject syllabus:
Mining polygon programs, their distribution, characteristics, transverse and longitudinal deviation, calculation and compensation.
Measurement of natural directions, gyroscope principle, measurement methods and accuracy.
Projection of the position of points underground, methods and accuracy of measurements.
Connecting and rectifying measurements with one well and two plumb lines, accuracy of the projected side direction.
Connecting and rectifying measurements with two wells with one plumb line, calculation and measurement accuracy.
Connection and rectification measurements by point direction, methods and its accuracy.
Height measurements in the mine, methods and accuracy of measurements.
Depth measurement, methods and accuracy of measurement.
