Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Deepening of knowledge of theory of errors and adjustment calculus application for planning of accuracy and optimizing of measurements, evaluation of accuracy of measured quantities, evaluation of results, their analysis and adjustment of redundant number of measured values.

Probability distribution of random quantities, errors of a measurement (sources of errors, sorts of errors, recognition of errors), accuracy of a measurement, normal distribution, limit deviations and elimination of outlying measurements from a file of measuring results, systematic errors, law of random and systematic deviations propagation, weights of measured quantities, least squares method, adjustment of direct observations, pairs of measurements, adjustment of observation equations, adjustment of condition equations, line of regression, curve of regression.

• Principles of random sampling theory and estimation theory.
• Principles of theory of measuring errors.
• Law of random and systematic deviations propagation.
• Adjustment of direct observations, pairs of measurements.
• Adjustment of observation equations.
• Adjustment of condition equations.
• Measuring results analysis, regression and correlation analysis, testing of hypotheses.
