Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Main goal of this subject is increasing knowledge from subject Programming Languages. Students who pass out this subject should to know how used basic API functions of operation system Windows (WIN32 API). These students should be able to create simple GUI applications based on modal dialog boxes.

In this subject students will be study how to use basic API functions from operation system Windows to be able create application with GUI.

1. Introduction and Fundamentals Terms, Process, Threads, API, WIN32... 2. Basic structure of GUI applications. 3. Messaging 4. Common controls – buttons (Radio Button, Check Button, Push Button). 5. Common controls – Edit boxes and Text Boxes 6. Common controls – List Boxes. 7. Common dialog boxes 8. Files - read / write operations 9. Timers 10. Software emulation of control loop 11. Software realization of P controler 12. Software realization of I controler 13. Software realization of PD controler 14. Software realization of PID controler
