Summary

The course deals with the application of information systems in sciences of environmental . Building on knowledge of database and data processing environment further develops the analysis and categorization of data, format a view to their subsequent processing and presentation of geographic information systems. Examines in detail the possible formats, data sources, including the issue of the use of data from remote sensing. It introduces the most commonly used means for boiling the GIS. In the practical part, students are introduced to-use and resource ArcGis examples of implementation of environmental data in the model landscape.
