Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim is to present an overview of the subject in the areas of basic principles of operation and implementation of computer networks, so that the students were able to apply this knowledge in the design, implementation and configuration of simple networks in SOHO and SMB environment.

Cílem předmětu je předložit přehled v oblastech základních pojmů a principů. Tématické okruhy: Vývoj výpočetního modelu, Taxonometrie, Síťové modely, Základy datových komunikací, Přenosové techniky, Řízení přístupu, Internetworking, Ethernet, Optické přenosy, ATM, Sériové komunikace, ISDN, Síťový model TCP/IP, Adresování a směrování, Systém DNS, Přenos souborů, Sdílení souborů, Síťové aplikace.
