Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The course introduces students to the basics of working with relational databases through SQL structured and develops their skills in analysis, design, construction and subsequent management of relational database applications.
In practice lessons students learn the practices of working with relational databases in MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server via SQL. At the end of the semester students elaborate projects aimed at implementing a simple relational databases and manipulate data using SQL.
