Summary

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the automation technology in underground mines, quarries, including the supply undertaking various types of energy - electricity, gas and drinking water, heat, air, sanitation and process steam, dewatering, degassing, ventilation, air conditioning. The base is a description of the general characteristics of these networks and subsequently integrated into a complete whole. Then I focus on the importance of resources for network connections, the design capacity of the plants and the possibility of its regulation. Students also learn about the structural elements of networks, applications, its use in practice and unification in the central control station.
