Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Students are able to define, analyze and present the individual economic systems necessary to understand the functioning of economic subjects in an industrial environment.
Students will learn to analyze and evaluate the impacts of economic policy measures on industrial enterprises, especially in the mining and processing industries, as well as in selected follow-up industries.
Students are also able to link knowledge of monetary, fiscal and external trade policy and forecast the impact of their measures on the economic development of these industrial enterprises.

Summary
Předmět seznamuje se základními pojmy fungování tržního mechanizmu - tržní subjekty, konkurence, nabídka, poptávka, rovnovážná cena. Je objasněna problematika trhů jednotlivých výrobních faktorů. Jsou vysvětleny příčiny selhání trhu a důvody intervence státu do ekonomiky. V dalším je obsažena základní makroekonomická problematika - hodnocení NH, hospodářský cyklus, ekonomický růst, ceny a inflace, nezaměstnanost, atd. Závěr patří měření nerovnosti ve společnosti a strukturální politice státu.
