Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student shows knowledge: of the importance of basic concepts and definitions of managerial systems in the raw material industry, of fundamentals of database systems and basic applications in the managerial systems of the raw material industry, of fundamentals of management, of effectiveness assessment and of safety of managerial systems in the raw material industry. Student can: describe the individual applications in the managerial systems of the raw material industry Student is able to: transfer number systems and encode numbers create a simple applications in MS ACCESS database system

Summary

Subject is concerned with applications in managerial systems of the raw material industry, with management, evaluation of effectiveness and safety of managerial systems and ICT. It presents fundamental terms and definitions used in managerial systems. From practical point of view subject is focused on use of numerical systems and creation of simple applications in database system of MS ACCESS.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Regular feedback on the progress of knowledge during the current term is provided by presentation of semester project, tests and by written exam.

For communication beyond the framework of in-person training camps, the Moodle learning management system (lms.vsb.cz) is used, through which communication is enabled not only between the teacher and students, but also between students.

Conditions for subject completion and attendance at the exercises within ISP: The credit consists of a semester credit work in the range of 20-25 pages on the topics covered at the lectures. In total, they can get 33 points for the credit. The exam is written (at LMS) and consists of 67 tasks, for which it is possible to obtain 67 points. Active participation in exercises is expected to complete tasks.
