Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will adopt comprehensive information about the essence of systemic thinking, system sciences and their basic postulates. They will learn how to categorize systems with regard to their structure and properties and to understand their dynamic behavior. Learning outcomes of the course unit. The course focuses not only on the basic concepts of System Theory, it acquaints with key processes in identifying systems. It also deals with the dynamic behavior of systems and simulations of this behavior through models. It also deals with the management of technical systems. Modeling processes and industrial systems will allow students to easily get information and an overview of processes that take place, for example, in companies. It is a means of help that we can describe and understand in our society for our inner order and behavior. Learning outcomes of the course presents to students computer modeling of technological processes and systems using modern means such as Petri nets as an effective tool for analysis and synthesis of processes with the ability to understand the parallelism, synchronization and causality of events. The main aim of the course is to introduce students the possibilities of modeling and simulation in the field of industrial systems and technological processes. In this area of modeling and simulation, the modeling and simulation of fluid flow phenomena is based on the CFD program.
