Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students are able to define, analyze and present the individual economic systems. Students are also able to link knowledge of monetary, fiscal and external trade policy and forecast the impact of their measures on the economic development of these industrial enterprises.

Summary

Studenti dokáží definovat, analyzovat a prezentovat jednotlivé ekonomické systémy. Dále studenti dokáží propojit poznatky z monetární, fiskální a vnější obchodní politiky a prognózovat dopad jejich opatření na ekonomický vývoj zmíněných průmyslových podniků.

Subject syllabus:

1. Characteristics, structure and function of the economy. 2. Importance of the mining and processing industry for the national economy. 3. Analysis of the functioning of the market mechanism with regard to industrial enterprises. 4. Behavior of consumers and firms (especially industrial enterprises) in a market environment. 5. To balance the company and the market in different market situations. 6. Measuring the performance of the national economy. 7. Economic equilibrium, causes and manifestations of cyclical oscillations. 8. The economic function of the state, the role of the state in managing the economy in various economic systems. 9. Objectives and tools of the economic policy of the state. 10. Basic connections of the monetary policy of the state, meaning, instruments and its possible impact on the existence and operation of industrial enterprises. 11. Basic Context of State Fiscal Policy, Meaning, Instruments and Its Possible Impact on the Existence and Effect of Industrial Enterprises. 12. Measurement of inequalities in society, causes of redistribution, tools of state policy for redistribution and impact on industrial enterprises. 13. Structural policy, basic areas, tools, types and approaches, impact and impact on industrial enterprises. 14. The State's Role in Mining.

Conditions for subject completion and attendance at the exercises within ISP: Successful obtaining of the credit is conditioned by writing a semester project and activity in seminars. Credit is awarded when obtaining 17-30 points. Successful completion of the course is completed by a written exam and obtaining 34-70 points.
