Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The course familiarizes students with the basics of web and mobile technologies. Students will learn how to use mobile devices as a tool for simplifying work tasks. They will learn about the possibilities of using enhanced and virtual reality using mobile platforms. Students will be introduced to the principles of internet networking with respect to the creation and security of the www server. The principles of some Internet protocols and web application programming will be explained. Space will also be devoted to web content management systems. Students will learn how to work with Unity 3D and how to use them to create their own applications for web and mobile platforms.

Summary

Předmět seznámí posluchače se základy webových a mobilních technologií. Studenti se seznámí s využitím mobilních zařízeních jako nástrojem pro zjednodušení vykonávání pracovních úkolů. Seznámí se s možnostmi využívání rozšířené a virtuální reality pomocí mobilních platforem. Dále budou posluchači seznámeni s principy fungování sítě internet s ohledem na tvorbu www serveru a jeho bezpečnost. Budou vysvětleny principy některých internetových protokolů a programování webových aplikací. Prostor bude věnován také webovým systémům pro správu obsahu. Studenti se naučí pracovat s prostředím Unity 3D a jejich využití pro vytváření vlastních aplikací pro webové i mobilní platformy.

E-learning

Pro komunikaci nad rámec prezenčně realizovaných soustředění je používán learning management systém Moodle (lms.vsb.cz), prostřednictvím kterého je umožněna komunikace nejen mezi vyučujícím a studenty, ale také mezi studenty navzájem.

Další požadavky na studenta

The student will work independently on semestral work, which he / she has to defend during the course. The examination is based on the submitted semestral work and knowledge on the exercises. Detailed conditions will be sent to students either by e-mail or directly delivered to the exercises. Students can consult with the teacher, either by e-mail or in person. On the basis of the evaluation of the given seminar work, a credit is given to the teacher by the supervisor. For Students of Combined Study Mode, the study and examination rules and their rights and duties apply in full. Basic study support will be given to the students in the lecture, students of the combined form of study will also follow obligatory and recommended literature.
