Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Identify the importance of raw materials for the national economy. Explain the relationship between supply and demand in the market of individual raw materials. Apply the use of raw materials in selected industries. Assess the usability of raw materials in a specific market. Suggest alternative uses of raw materials.

Summary
The course focuses on the application potential of raw materials in selected industries. The lectures emphasize the application of final mineral products in target markets. During the exercises, students gain practical experience by working on a semester project on the topic of target markets for products of selected minerals in a particular industry.
