Students study to manage finances of family. Student obtain to ability to explain problems with taxis and to characterize bank and nonbank products.

Summary

People’s economic decision making is an integral part of existing within contemporary society structures. The Course informs on processes concerning students’ own finances. As such the Course has been structured in two parts. The first part takes into account related taxation arrangements (income tax, property tax, VAT, consumption tax, social and health insurance payments). The second part focuses on investment options as offered by banks and financial institutions (standard bank products; building and loan association savings; supplementary pension insurance benefits; life insurance; shares funds; share investments and non-traditional investments – works of art, wine, gold, etc.).
