Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Student is able to analyse managerial process of enterprise and to characterize its parts. Student obtains teamwork and communication skills too. Student integrated knowledge and skills with respect to making strategy of enterprise.

Summary
The subject introduces one of the important activities – management. The lectures explain management functions (planning, organizing, leadership, controlling, analyzing, decision-making process, communications) and apply the functions in enterprises. The subject efforts to give practical experience
(teamwork, presentation, etiquette). Attention is also paid to issues of innovation and project management.

1st Defining the essential concepts of management, characteristics of managerial work, managerial characteristics, skills.
2nd Corporate ethics and corporate culture.
3rd System approach to management
4th Meetings and principles of their leadership
5th Brief historical development of management. Characteristics and representatives of managerial tendency.
6th Managerial functions planning: definition, characteristics of different types of plans, the planning process. Management by objectives (MBO).
7th Strategic planning and management. Definition of terms corporate vision and mission, the process of strategic planning.
8th Selected kinds of strategic analysis (SWOT analysis, Porter’s model, PEST analysis), basic types of strategies and strategic alternatives.
9th Managerial decision-making functions: definition, risk, decompose of time of the decision-making process, decision-making in the group decision-making methods.
10th Managerial functions of the organization: definition, process organization, basic types of organizational structures, organizational and legal form of business.
11th Managerial functions of personnel management: definition, basic HR activities (eg, selection, evaluation staff remuneration).
12th Managerial functions of leadership: definition, basic effects on employee performance, motivation and motivation theories, motivational factors, the importance of working groups and the factors affecting their performance and efficiency, the development phase of the team.
13th Managerial control functions: definition, classification review process, recommendations for the implementation of control activities, the trend of development control activities.
14th Communication and presentation skills of manager.
