Summary

Content of this subject is getting of basic information about banking sector. There is described function of banks in market economy, also is described a monetary policy and principles and purposes banking sector. Students will be familiar with interest and bank expences.

1. Financial system - financial documents, financial institutions, financial markets 2. Regulating the financial system 3. Functions and role of banks in a market economy 4. Banking system, types of banks, their characteristics 5. Nature and objectives of monetary policy, monetary aggregates 6. Direct and indirect instruments of monetary policy 7. Objectives and principles of the banking business 8. Test credit-worthiness of the debtor 9. Credit protection, its importance 10. Short-term bank loans and borrowings 11. Medium and long-term bank loans 12. Financially banking business bank - factoring, forfeiting, financial leasing 13. Passive banking business banking, protection and insurance deposits 14. Payments - forms of domestic and foreign payments
