Students study to making prefeasibility study and to evaulating investment projects. Students study to manage meetings and to lead effective discuss too.

Summary

The course develops essential knowledge and skills of the management. Interpretation focuses on strategic management, project management and the management of the economy. The focus of the course lies in solving the project, in which students learn teamwork and communication skills.

Subject syllabus:

1. Definování základních pojmů managementu, charakteristika manažerské práce, manažerské vlastnosti, dovednosti. 2. Firemní etika a firemní kultura. 3. Systémový přístup k managementu 4. Pracovní porada a zásady jejího vedení 5. Stručný historický vývoj managementu. Charakteristika a představitelé jednotlivých manažerských směrů. 6. Manažerská funkce plánování: definice, charakteristika jednotlivých typů plánů, postup plánování. Management podle cílů (MBO). 7. Strategické plánování a řízení. Definice pojmů firemní vize a poslání firmy, proces strategického plánování, vybrané druhy strategických analýz (SWOT analýza, Porterův model, analýza PEST), základní typy strategií a strategické alternativy. 8. Manažerská funkce rozhodování: definice, riziko, časový rozklad rozhodovacího procesu, rozhodování ve skupině, rozhodovací metody. 9. Manažerská funkce organizování: definice, postup organizování, základní typy organizačních struktur – výhody x nevýhody, centralizace a decentralizace řízení, rozpětí řízení, koordinace, organizačně právní formy podniku. 10. Manažerská funkce personalistika: definice, základní činnosti personálních útvarů (např. výběr, hodnocení odměňování pracovníků). 11. Manažerská funkce vedení: definice, základní vlivy na výkon pracovníka, motivace a motivační teorie, motivační faktory, význam pracovních skupin a faktory ovlivňujících jejich výkonnost a efektivitu, vývojové fáze týmu. 12. Manažerská funkce kontrola:definice, klasifikace kontrolních procesů, doporučení k provádění kontrolní činnosti, tendence rozvoje kontrolní činnosti. 13. Komunikační a prezentační dovednosti manažera.
