Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will learn to organize, summarize, and describe the fundamental principles of systems thinking. They will gain the ability to identify and classify different types of systems, understand their dynamic behavior, and apply basic methods of system analysis. Students will be able to analyze regulation and stability in dynamic systems and synthesize models for system control in practice. They will learn to assess the effectiveness of various control methods and recommend optimal strategies based on the results of analysis and simulations.

Summary

The course Systems Theory and Control provides students with an overview of key concepts and methods in systems theory. Students will learn the processes of system identification and classification, acquire the skills to model and simulate dynamic system behavior, and apply control knowledge in technical processes. Graduates of this course will be able to analyze complex systems and apply acquired knowledge in fields such as industrial, transport, and energy management.
