Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will learn comprehensive information about the nature of systems thinking, systems sciences and their fundamental postulates. They learn to categorize systems with regard to their structure and properties and to understand their dynamic behavior.

Teaching methods

Project work

The course focuses on the basic concepts of systems theory, introduces the key procedures for system identification. It also deals with the dynamic behavior of systems and simulations of this behavior through models. It is also dedicated to the management of technical systems.
