To gain theoretical knowledge of economics and management, to be acquainted with problems of management functions and subsequent application in management-economic solutions.

Summary

The course introduces students to the economic system, business and managerial issues. Students are acquainted with the issues separately, but in an effort to understand the interrelations between economic and managerial issues. The economic issue is focused on fixed and current assets, personnel, labor productivity, profit, cash flow. The management issues will become acquainted with managerial functions (planning, organizing, management, control, decision making, and communication). In the exercises, students learn and enhance teamwork and communication skills.

1. Předmět zkoumání ekonomiky jako vědní disciplíny, základní ekonomické pojmy. 2. Ekonomické systémy. 3. Tržní ekonomika. 4. Podnikání. 5. Majetek podniku. 6. Pracovní síla a produktivita práce. 7. Podnikové činnosti. 8. Náklady, výnosy a hospodářský výsledek podniku. 9. Management. 10. Informační systém podniku a jeho využívání managementem.
