To gain theoretical knowledge of economics and management, to be acquainted with problems of management functions and subsequent application in management-economic solutions in Mining plants

Summary

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with basic concepts of business economics context of the studied field. This includes areas: business, property and capital firm, costs, revenues and profits business, marketing, etc. Basic concepts of management and its application in terms of mining operations.

Methods for evaluation of investments. 6. Business process as a cycle of capital. 7. Structure of assets and the resources against it. 8. Fundamentals of accounting. 9. Basic accounting balance sheet and income statements. 10.Tangible fixed assets, meaning. 11.Valuation of investment property. 12.Classification of tangible fixed assets. 13.Circulating assets - meaning, structure, influencing factors. 14.Stocks - meaning, management of stocks 15.Labor force and labor productivity. 16.The cost of business - meaning, possible ways of sorting. 17.Optimizing costs. 18.Income business. 19.Economic outcome of business and profitability 20.Basic concepts of marketing. 21.Managing business activities, basic management functions. 22.Planning and organizing 23.Personnel manager job 24.Management and control 25.Creation of working groups and the factors affecting the effective implementation workload
