Summary

The subject deepens knowledge in the problems of applying the information systems in environmental sciences and in restoration of the landscape. It focuses on the means and methods for landscape planning and modelling of the landscape. It analyzes the data structure in detail. It includes analysis and synthesis of data, and methods for creation of projects. In its other part the subject concentrates on utilisation of digital models of the landscape including methods for evaluation of the situation from the point of view of the landscape restoration and utilisation of brownfields. In the practical part the students are elaborately familiarized with operation and utilisation of AutoCAD Map means and examples of environmental data implementations in models of the landscape.
