Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The subject develops and broadens the ABCs of management and applies it to the conditions of mining enterprises. Students are able to explain the particularities of management in the discipline, and they are able to discuss the topic on the expert level. Students are also able to design appropriate approaches to solve managerial problems and then apply them in given conditions.

Summary

The course is focus on deeping and erlarging knowledge of management. Students will get acquainted with the structure of the studied discipline and scientific methods and approaches enabling the study of the issue itself. The course mainly focuses on the holistic concept. However, students will also learn the basics of project and strategic management. The studied issue is applied to the conditions of the mining company.
